CLIMBING
Fremington Adventure Centre runs its climbing courses from a purpose built indoor and outdoor climbing wall as well as across some of North Devon's rugged coastline including the renowned spot of Baggy Point. This unique position not only allows us to conjure up great variety, but also means that we can be flexible, adapting our course location and content to suit both the weather patterns and your abilities. This means you get the most from your time with us. During each session you will cover safety aspects, before heading out with a qualified and experienced instructor.

We offer a wide range of courses from novice to specialist. The exhilaration of climbing in a new location will improve your mountaineering skills. Whatever standard you climb at, from novice to expert, these feelings remain the same. The secret lies in seeking out new and exciting challenges.

Our courses are available as one-day taster courses, or as part of a multi-activity adventure training package.

ABSEILING
Using the security of a top-rope system, beginners can quickly get to grips with moving around on the rock face and trying out various methods of safeguarding their climbing partners. However as you get more practice your confidence will grow you will be abseiling down the cliff face in leaps and bounds!

Abseiling is introduced as a fun activity in itself as well as being an important part of the wider climbing skills.
